Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
½ cup vanilla protein powder
¼ cup unsalted creamy peanut butter
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup non-dairy milk (more as needed)
1 teaspoon vanilla
⅔ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Whisk together the almond flour and protein powder in a bowl.
- Microwave the peanut butter for about 20 seconds, just enough to melt it slightly to make it easier to mix.
- Add the peanut butter, maple syrup, non-dairy milk, and vanilla to the bowl with the flour and protein powder mixture.
- Mix everything together using a rubber spatula until well combined. Add 1-2 more tablespoons of milk if the mixture is too thick.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- You can either leave the dough as it is or roll it into balls for easy, bite-sized servings.
- Store in the fridge for the best results.
Notes
- Use your preferred protein powder, though vanilla flavor works best.
- Substitute peanut butter with almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter for variation.
- Opt for dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs for a healthier version.
- For a sugar-free version, replace maple syrup with a sugar-free sweetener and use sugar-free chocolate chips.
- This dough is best stored in the fridge and will firm up slightly when chilled.
