Pink Hot Chocolate is a delightful variation of the classic white hot chocolate, offering a creamy, sweet flavor with a playful pink hue. Perfect for special occasions or any time you want to add a touch of fun to your beverage.

  • Total Time: 7 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

3/4 cup evaporated milk

2 cups whole milk

1 cup white chocolate chips

Red food coloring (2 drops)

Whipped cream (optional)

Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the evaporated milk and whole milk. Heat the mixture until it begins to steam, but do not allow it to boil.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the white chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add red food coloring one drop at a time, stirring until the desired shade of pink is achieved.
  4. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream and sprinkles, if desired.

Notes

  • If you want a richer chocolate flavor, mix in a tablespoon of cocoa powder.
  • For a dairy-free option, substitute with coconut or almond milk.
  • Leftover hot chocolate can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently.
  • If you want to add more flavor, try vanilla or almond extract, or even peppermint or cinnamon.
