Ingredients

4 fresh peaches

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

¼ teaspoon ginger powder

A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cut each peach in half vertically and remove the seed.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir the mixture well.
  3. Place the peach halves, cut side down, in the pan.
  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the cut side of the peaches is browned and caramelized.
  5. Gently flip the peaches over and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot with your choice of ice cream, yogurt, or pancakes.
