Ingredients
3 cups mixed melon balls (watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew)
2–4 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
1 lime, juiced
1/4–1/2 cup grappa (or pisco, adjust to taste)
1 (750 ml) bottle Moscato wine, chilled
1 1/2 cups sparkling water, chilled
Mint leaves, for garnish
Lime slices, for garnish
Frozen melon ball ice cubes or regular ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the melon balls in a large pitcher.
- Add honey, lime juice, and grappa. Stir gently to combine.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 1–2 hours to let the flavors meld.
- Pour in the chilled Moscato wine and stir gently. Taste and adjust honey or grappa if desired.
- Refrigerate for another hour to chill fully.
- Before serving, add ice cubes or frozen melon balls to the pitcher.
- Garnish with lime slices and mint leaves.
- Top each serving with sparkling water or add it to the pitcher before serving.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, replace wine and grappa with sparkling water or fruity soda.
- Experiment with other melons like Galia or Crenshaw for variation.
- Add fruits such as peaches, berries, or pineapple for extra flavor.
