These easy, crisp, and naturally gluten-free keto crackers are made with just almond flour, egg whites, and butter—perfect for a low-carb snack you can customize with herbs or spices.

Ingredients

1/4 cup salted butter, softened

2 large egg whites

2 cups almond flour

1/4 teaspoon salt (plus more for sprinkling)

Optional: 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or herbs/spices of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, use an electric hand mixer on low-medium speed to combine softened butter and almond flour.
  3. Add egg whites and a pinch of salt. Continue mixing until the dough is smooth and uniform.
  4. If desired, mix in 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning or other herbs/spices.
  5. Roll the dough out evenly to about ⅛ inch thickness.
  6. Cut the dough into 1½ inch squares using a knife or pizza cutter.
  7. Lightly sprinkle the top of the dough with salt.
  8. Transfer the crackers to a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10–15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  10. Let the crackers cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

For extra flavor, mix in herbs like dill, rosemary, or thyme.

Add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes for a spicy version.

Top with sesame, poppy, or flax seeds before baking.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.

To restore crispiness, bake in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 3–5 minutes.
