8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
8 oz lump crab meat, drained and picked over
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
- Gently fold in lump crab meat, green onions, and diced red bell pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or tortilla chips.
Notes
- Drain and pat crab meat dry to avoid a watery dip.
- Use fresh crab for the best flavor.
- Can be assembled a day in advance and baked before serving.
- For a golden top, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
