Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 blonde espresso shots
- 1/3 cup oat milk
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute until sugar dissolves.
- Stir the syrup and let it cool (it will thicken slightly).
- Prepare 3 blonde espresso shots or 1/2 cup of cold brew coffee.
- In a mason jar or cup, add ice, cooled syrup, and espresso shots .
- Screw the lid on tightly and shake until frothy.
- Remove the lid and pour in oat milk. Stir to combine and enjoy.
Notes
- The brown sugar syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
- Customize sweetness with brown sugar, maple syrup, or agave nectar.
- Oat milk can be substituted with other plant-based milk like almond or soy milk.
- For extra cinnamon flavor, sprinkle some on top after shaking or add to the milk before mixing.
