A simple yet indulgent coffee drink with brown sugar syrup, cinnamon, blonde espresso , oat milk, and ice, shaken to create a frothy, refreshing beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 blonde espresso shots
  • 1/3 cup oat milk
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute until sugar dissolves.
  2. Stir the syrup and let it cool (it will thicken slightly).
  3. Prepare 3 blonde espresso shots or 1/2 cup of cold brew coffee.
  4. In a mason jar or cup, add ice, cooled syrup, and espresso shots .
  5. Screw the lid on tightly and shake until frothy.
  6. Remove the lid and pour in oat milk. Stir to combine and enjoy.

Notes

  • The brown sugar syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Customize sweetness with brown sugar, maple syrup, or agave nectar.
  • Oat milk can be substituted with other plant-based milk like almond or soy milk.
  • For extra cinnamon flavor, sprinkle some on top after shaking or add to the milk before mixing.
