Ingredients
- 5 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 5 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup corn syrup (or substitute with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon water)
- 7 cups Golden Grahams cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (to stir in at the end)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter.
- In a large saucepan, melt 5 cups of marshmallows, milk chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup over low heat, stirring gently until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Golden Grahams and remaining 1 cup of marshmallows.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan using the back of a greased spatula.
- Let the bars harden at room temperature for about 60 minutes, then cut them into squares.
Notes
- If you prefer a richer flavor, substitute milk chocolate with semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips.
- Feel free to experiment with peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, or pretzel sticks for added texture.
- A sprinkle of sea salt before the bars set helps balance the sweetness.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- Reheat individual bars in the microwave for 5-10 seconds if you want a gooey texture again.
