Instructions
- Stir 5 finely grated garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of the lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard together in a small bowl until well combined.
- Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- After 15 minutes, whisk in 3/4 cup mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the aioli and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more kosher salt or up to an additional tablespoon of lemon juice for extra tang.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
- This aioli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- If the aioli thickens after refrigeration, simply stir it well before using.
