2 cups cooked chicken, sliced
12 oz linguine pasta
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cooked chicken and stir to warm it through.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce thickens.
- Toss the linguine in the sauce, coating it evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- Vegetarian Option: Swap the chicken for sautéed vegetables such as mushrooms, spinach, or broccoli for a vegetarian-friendly version.
- Spicy Twist: Add red pepper flakes or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce for some heat.
- Different Pasta: Feel free to substitute the linguine with another pasta shape like fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti.
- Herb Flavors: You can use thyme or basil instead of parsley for a different herby note.
