1 ½ lb ground chuck
3 Tbsp sour cream
2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
⅓ cup cooked and crumbled beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Hamburger buns
Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled beef, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form into patties. Press a small dimple in the center of each patty.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties to desired doneness, flipping carefully. (130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, 160°F for well-done).
- Once cooked, place patties on hamburger buns and add toppings like lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.

- Avoid overmixing the meat to keep the burgers tender.
- Press a dimple into the patties to prevent puffing up.
- You can substitute ground turkey or lamb for beef.
