This cold crab and shrimp dip is a creamy, no-bake appetizer made with fresh seafood, cheese, and Cajun seasoning. Perfect for parties and ready in just over an hour including chill time.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

1/2 pound small shrimp, chopped

6 ounces lump crab meat

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

3 green onions, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, softened cream cheese, and mayonnaise.
  2. Add the sharp cheddar cheese, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir everything together until the mixture is smooth and well mixed.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
  5. Optional: Garnish with additional shrimp and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Use pre-cooked shrimp and canned or fresh lump crab for convenience.

For a spicier dip, add hot sauce or extra Cajun seasoning.

Substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter option.

Best served with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies.

Not suitable for freezing due to the cream cheese base.
