Ingredients
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk (for icing)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into a large rectangle or circle, pinching seams to form a smooth surface.
- Brush the dough evenly with the melted butter.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth to make the icing.
- Once baked, drizzle the icing over the warm pizza in zigzags or swirls. Serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days.
- Reheat in a toaster oven or conventional oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5–7 minutes to maintain crispness.
- Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess.
- Try variations like adding nuts, fruit slices, or swapping icing for melted chocolate.
