Ingredients

1 stick butter

1¼ cups sugar

¼ cup milk

¼ cup cocoa

1 cup peanut butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the sugar, milk, and cocoa to the melted butter, stirring frequently. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and allow it to boil for about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper. You can shape them into cookies by pressing lightly with a spoon.
  5. Let the cookies set at room temperature for about 30-60 minutes or until firm. If you’re in a hurry, you can also place them in the fridge to speed up the setting process.
