Chocolate Chip Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough Bites are a high-protein, sweet treat that combines the flavor of classic cookie dough with the health benefits of cottage cheese and whey protein. Safe to eat raw, these bites are the perfect guilt-free snack for any time of day.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 15-20 cookie dough bites, depending on size

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups rolled oats

75 grams dark chocolate chips

6 scoops whey protein powder

2 packets chocolate LMNT electrolytes

1/3 cup pure maple syrup

3/4 cup peanut butter

3/4 cup cottage cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, dark chocolate chips, whey protein powder, and electrolytes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the pure maple syrup, peanut butter, and cottage cheese.
  3. Add the cottage cheese mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Refrigerate the dough in an airtight container to eat with a spoon, or roll into bite-sized balls.
  5. If rolling into balls, refrigerate the dough for about 2 hours. Once chilled, dampen your hands lightly with water and roll the dough into 32-gram balls. Alternatively, use a cookie dough scoop.
  6. Store the cookie dough bites in the fridge for up to one week, or freeze them in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Let frozen bites defrost for 10 minutes before eating.

Notes

  • For variations, try swapping peanut butter with almond butter, or using a sugar-free sweetener like stevia or monk fruit instead of maple syrup.
  • Make them nut-free by using sunflower seed butter or a similar nut-free alternative.
  • Customize with add-ins like cinnamon, vanilla extract, or dried fruit.
