Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Reese’s Pieces (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 11 × 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle Reese’s Pieces evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is set and the center is still moist.
- Cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a different twist, replace Reese’s Pieces with peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, or chopped peanut butter cups.
- Avoid natural peanut butter for best texture.
- Do not overmix the batter to keep brownies chewy.
- Brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or frozen for up to 2 months.
